“We’re FOOD people”
We are Kim Stansfield and John Gordon.
Our adventure in farming began in the late 1990’s when we moved to Summerland, B.C.. Beginning with a small market garden on our 10 acre farm, we invested a lot of our labor and that of our friends to transform our farm into one of the beautiful sights to see and visit when in Summerland.
Located on the Bottleneck Drive wine trail, our business “The Vinegar Works” receives hundreds of visitors annually who are drawn by the unique products we produce, all grown on our farm.
Our wine vinegars are our feature items, made from wines produced from grapes harvested in our farm vineyard, these are a beautiful product of the Okanagan wine industry and delightful to use to add flavors and spark to your home recipes. Although limited in production, these products are sought after and used by a number of chefs in the finest restaurants of the Okanagan who feature them as the ultimate in local food.
They can be tasted (yes, tasted!) in our farm shop daily except Wednesdays from July to October or anytime by appointment. (250-494-7300) We look forward to welcoming you to our farm! |
